The Search Process

Our goal at Pioneer Search Group is to surpass client expectations by listening to what is most important to our client when it comes to hiring a key person into their organization.  Then we tailor a search plan of attack to guarantee client satisfaction.

  1. Consult with client to construct a detailed search assignment.  Our main focus is to not only attract top talent, but to develop a complete and detailed job description.
  2. Consult with client to develop an ideal candidate profile.
  3. Arrange a list of targeted candidates and companies from our extensive database.
  4. Go out into the marketplace to find and recruit top talent in a professional and confidential manner.
  5. Conduct in-depth telephone interviews with potential candidates to determine if their skills. abilities and philosophies match those of the client.
  6. Present a short list of qualified candidates.
  7. Set up face-to-face interviews.
  8. Debrief the candidate.
  9. Debrief the client.  Release any candidate the client does not want to pursue.
  10. Check references if desired by the client.
  11. Extend any verbal offer, if desired by client, and relay acceptance of offer to client.
  12. Coach candidate with regards to resignation and counteroffer.
  13. Stay in contact with the candidate and client before start date and through the beginning stages of employment.
  14. Let the client know that the project is now complete.
